In this episode I introduce a new young colleague \u2014 <strong>Alonso Niembro Rojas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alonso is both <strong>Spanish and Mexican<\/strong>, a graduate in <strong>international law from the Sorbonne University in Paris<\/strong>, and he has just joined my team here in Brussels for five months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes Alonso\u2019s story remarkable is not only his background, but also his evolution.<br>He openly describes himself as having been \u201ca very woke child\u201d \u2014 a believer in global revolutions, feminist movements, and taxing the rich \u2014 before discovering the ideas and values that completely changed his worldview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, he stands for <strong>faith, family, and freedom<\/strong>, and represents a growing part of <strong>Generation Z<\/strong> that is turning back toward tradition and meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this conversation, we talk about that journey \u2014 about <strong>what shaped his convictions<\/strong>, <strong>the influence of thinkers like Charlie Kirk<\/strong>, and what it means for a young conservative Catholic to work <strong>inside the European Parliament<\/strong> today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/fkartheiser.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Alonso-VEED-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PODCAST.
