Today, I have sent a new letter to Mrs Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, in which I again call on the European Union to re-engage in a genuine dialogue with the Russian Federation.

It is time to move away from a policy of obstruction and to begin a process that can truly be described as diplomacy — a process aimed at restoring dialogue, reducing tensions, and ultimately working towards peace.
